Opulent Nook

The project draws inspiration from light reflection, integrating neoclassical and Baroque elements with contemporary design principles. Using a palette of black and gold, the space is crafted to achieve a balanced residential experience, focusing on both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Feminine details are interwoven with the interplay of chiaroscuro, resulting in an elegant visual narrative. As the lighting evolves, the space shifts with a sense of grandeur, while maintaining a contemporary edge.

The design incorporates recessed lighting and contemporary luminaires, juxtaposed with traditional ornamental carvings, preserving classical elements while adding a modern twist. Recessed LED strip lighting within the coffered ceilings enhances brightness and creates a sense of visual elongation. Glossy black marble flooring increases depth and reflects light, while the stately carvings on the wall paneling and furniture reinterpret traditional Baroque and neoclassical aesthetics for contemporary tastes. Classical curves and details are retained but are rendered with smoother, more streamlined profiles. The bespoke furniture, adorned with intricate carvings, is crafted by local artisans, highlighting the design’s regional craftsmanship. These carvings balance luxury with comfort, imparting layers and depth to the interior.
