This project is situated in Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong, and is positioned as an "urban healing residence," responding to the dual aspirations of spiritual belonging and living aesthetics among the elite class within high-density urban environments. The ABI Langyi Design Team adopts a palette of black, white, and grey as the foundational tone, eschewing decorative embellishments and relying instead on the material contrast between matte wood veneer and cold marble to construct the spatial framework.
Throughout the entire residence, a main-light-free lighting strategy is implemented, with warm-coloured LED strips discreetly integrated into the ceiling perimeters and wall recesses, complemented by anti-glare downlights to achieve precise light control. This allows light and shadow to serve as the core medium for defining spatial depth and furniture contours. The application of concealed doors and integrated custom cabinetry allows the storage system to recede into the façade, preserving the purity and clarity of the space.
