Reconstructing a "shared roof" inside a commercial complex—this is the starting point of Haidilao's first concept store. "Gathering around the stove under the roof" resonates with the Chinese emotional bond of home and togetherness. Through volumetric cutting and reassembly, multiple independent yet shared "neighborhood courtyards" emerge, breaking the conventional flat layout. This clustered structure optimizes the spatial experience across a deep plan while enabling efficient, non-intrusive service circulation.

The most innovative material expression lies in the use of red kiln bricks. Their warmth and handcrafted traces transform Beijing's grand narrative into tangible textures. As an extension of the brand's signature color and an expression of artisanal craftsmanship, these bricks enter into dialogue with modern materials such as metal and glass blocks, continuing the legacy of "ancient tiles and grey bricks" under a contemporary roof. Beijing's urban memory is woven into details: motifs of the Temple of Heaven, the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, and candied hawthorn are subtly embedded in wall paintings, while layered roof structures evoke a sense of shelter.

The design responds to Haidilao's innovative late-night model, creating a "hot pot + drinks" personalized experience. It enables seamless transitions across four scenes—daily dining, evening meals, lounge bar, and nightlife. From an urban living room to a vibrant social arena, the same physical space covers all-day scenarios from casual hot pot to late-night drinks, precisely addressing Gen Z's diverse social needs.
