Located on the eastern hillside of Baishi Ridge in Haitang Bay, Sanya, this 541㎡ villa show suite was designed for a female artist, exploring how a residence can embody both strength and tenderness while expressing the personality of its occupant. Rather than following conventional feminine aesthetics associated with softness, brightness, and privacy, the project redefines feminine living through a balance of rigidity and softness, openness and intimacy, creating a contemporary spatial narrative with emotional depth and individuality.

The design integrates geometric philosophy with humanistic and natural elements, using low-saturation tones, asymmetrical curves, and tactile material contrasts to construct a living environment that reflects resilience, elegance, and emotional freedom. Earthy terracotta tones collide with muted black finishes to express feminine confidence and composure, while warm white hues soften the atmosphere and enhance spatial relaxation. Cool marble surfaces contrast with coarse cotton fabrics, creating layered sensory experiences that alternate between strength and warmth.

Curved furniture forms and flowing spatial lines replace rigid right angles, symbolizing the vitality of breaking free from social constraints. Sculptural artworks and artistic lighting inspired by the CATCH pendant series further strengthen the emotional dialogue between people and space. The dining and waiting areas are seamlessly connected to the outdoor landscape, encouraging fluid interaction between interior and nature while preserving moments of tranquility within social gatherings.

The project also emphasizes craftsmanship and cultural expression. Hand-embroidered wall fabrics preserve delicate tactile details, while variations in textile textures subtly guide movement through the space. Local cultural narratives are embedded into the design language, transforming the interior into a poetic and emotionally resonant sanctuary.

Ultimately, the space returns to the essential meaning of home — a place of rest, emotional release, and self-expression. Through the integration of materiality, spatial rhythm, and artistic storytelling, the design creates a residence that reflects the independent, confident, and multifaceted spirit of contemporary women.
