Located in Yangzhou, this project establishes an artistic space that seamlessly integrates a sales center with a diverse suite of complementary amenities. Guided by the dual ethos of “global contemporary trends” and “the new Yangzhou lifestyle,” the design reinterprets the heritage of the Grand Canal through a modern artistic lens. Its fluid aesthetic language abstractly evokes the forms of canyons, cascading waterfalls, and flowing streams, creating a dynamic, organic rhythm that resonates in harmony with the city.
Rooted in the philosophy of “coexisting with nature,” the exterior design adopts a sophisticated palette of light neutral tones, silver mirror finishes, and blue accents to cultivate an atmosphere that is serene, elegant, and futuristic. The spatial proportions adhere to the classical aesthetic principle of “valuing void as much as solid,” striking a delicate balance between visual richness and purity. This intentionality extends to the material use, where the interplay of mirror-finish metal, aquatex glass, marble, and leather orchestrates a rich sensory narrative. Moreover, the project meticulously balances aesthetics with performance. Refined craftsmanship, seen in laser-perforated metal and double-sided mirror-finish screens, elevates the visual impact; yet this beauty is anchored by rigorous engineering. Through the use of impregnating sealers for stone and weather-resistant treatments for metal, the design ensures long-lasting durability, transcending superficial decoration to achieve enduring performance.
Breaking free from the conventional boundaries of a real estate sales center, the functional layout curates a rich mosaic of experiences, including an artistic reception lounge, a lush greenhouse, a mahjong and poker room, a fitness zone, a swimming pool, and a sunken courtyard. The circulation strategy is driven by experience-first principles and visual permeability, guiding visitors on a seamless journey from the dynamic energy of the core exhibition zones to the tranquility of private consultation areas. This fosters a cohesive, narrative-driven spatial experience. Notably, the greenhouse and the tea art zone act as multi-functional hubs, adaptable for diverse events like exclusive appreciation gatherings or curated art salons. By doing so, this project challenges the homogenization typical of traditional sales centers, offering a fresh vision of contemporary living rooted in the historic soul of Yangzhou.
