Designed for three-member families seeking an upgraded lifestyle, this 120-square-meter residence rethinks the conventional model-home approach by prioritizing real living needs over purely visual presentation. Targeting residents aged 40 and above, including families relocating from the Beijing area, airline professionals, and local homeowners, the project creates a modern light-luxury environment that balances quality, functionality, and emotional warmth.
The design is rooted in daily life scenarios and developed through research into family routines, hobbies, circulation patterns, and social behaviors. Diverse living settings—including family interaction, personal relaxation, fitness, reading, wine appreciation, baking, and social gatherings—are thoughtfully integrated into the spatial planning. Rather than defining spaces by single functions, the design promotes flexibility and adaptability through multifunctional layouts and modular furniture systems.
A key feature of the project is its five-sense immersive design strategy. High-quality materials, tactile fabrics, customized fragrances, carefully considered acoustics, and ergonomic planning work together to create a comprehensive sensory experience. Artistic expression is further enriched through the integration of collectible art pieces, curated furnishings, and the LABUBU art IP, bringing personality and narrative depth into the home environment.
Storage and functionality are carefully balanced throughout the residence. Customized storage systems are integrated into each area to maximize efficiency while maintaining a clean and refined aesthetic. The open dining and living areas encourage interaction and allow spaces to adapt to different activities and occasions.
To ensure successful implementation, the project establishes a systematic framework that integrates design aesthetics, functionality, construction quality, and budget control. Standardized coordination among multiple teams guarantees accurate execution from concept to completion. A tiered material strategy allocates premium materials to key areas while employing cost-effective alternatives elsewhere, achieving a high-end appearance without unnecessary expenditure.
Sustainability is addressed through the use of low-formaldehyde materials, modular furniture, energy-efficient smart systems, local sourcing, and the creative reuse of family collections. The result is a warm, human-centered home that delivers practicality, flexibility, artistic value, and long-term livability.
