Urban apartments are becoming increasingly compact.
This 46㎡ apartment in a dense urban area accommodates a family of four with living, kitchen, dining, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and an additional study. Designed for multifunctionality and social gatherings, it features warm wood tones and natural materials that create a layered, inviting atmosphere. The tiny space has to be perfect balance of functionality, adaptability, and quality of life.
This design focus on the concept of “one space, multiple scenarios.” Through integrated storage and transformable furniture, the space can seamlessly shift between relaxation, work, dining, and sleeping. The natural light goes from the kitchen into living room through sliding glass doors. The bathroom door is integrated with the TV wall, combining storage with translucent ventilated shelving to balance function and daylight. The bedroom is designed as an open, multifunctional space that can connect with the living room, sharing light and visually expanding the interior while enhancing flexibility and living quality within a compact space.
