Forest Wellness and Aquatic Center

Designed as an elegant architectural landmark set deep in a dense natural environment. it's inspired by the Gothic architecture, as it reflects the beauty of pointed arches and the pictorial quality of ribbed vaults, while these traditional features have been reinterpreted into a modern expressive language of structure. Slim columns extend tall and elegantly become the vaulted forms of canopies, thus creating a rhythmic pattern overhead through which daylight is filtered and views of the sky are framed. A circular building with a dome on top is the core of the whole ensemble and acts as the visual and spatial center of the project. Its glass elevations keep up an uninterrupted connection between the interiors and the natural surroundings, offering panoramic views and a constant sense of openness.

The aquatic zone unfolds in a fluid, organic gesture that contrasts with the disciplined repetition of the canopy structure. The swimming pool is finished with classical mosaic patterns, celebrating craftsmanship and introducing ornamental richness beneath the water’s surface. As sunlight shifts throughout the day, the mosaics shimmer softly, adding depth and texture to the experience. Local landscaping is artfully blended in different parts of the site, thus contributing to air quality, giving shade, and raising the sensory experience. The circulation is quite natural through curved pathways that link water, seating areas, and the main building in a continuous manner. Materials that are carefully chosen dark metal, stone paving, and timber to create a balance between refinement and warmth. The result is a serene destination where heritage inspired architecture, water, green areas, and light come together in a cohesive expression of wellness and renewal.
