In response to the escalating need for urban development, DAISIN’s team has developed the “NAVIKTRON Ultimate Building Coating, Waterproofing, and Protection System” tailored for the property’s waterproofing projects. This system is designed to deliver comprehensive and efficient waterproofing results through the integration of premium international waterproofing materials, skilled workmanship, and stringent inspection protocols. It serves to protect buildings from water erosion, abrasion, corrosion, and other forms of damage while reinforcing structural integrity, preserving construction quality, and lowering future maintenance expenses. Ultimately, this system significantly contributes to the enhancement of building quality and longevity.
The system primarily leverages the core technology and products of exclusive agent brands, including GCP from the United States, Pitchmastic PMB® from the United Kingdom, and KRYTON® from Canada. These products play a significant role in enhancing the effectiveness of waterproofing projects. GCP specializes in supplying high-performance building materials to ensure stable protective performance across various environmental conditions. Pitchmastic PMB® waterproof membrane products demonstrate outstanding waterproofing and abrasion resistance, finding extensive application in buildings, roads, bridges, and tunnels as waterproof layers to effectively resist water erosion and structural damage. Furthermore, the Kryton® smart concrete, featuring the pioneering "Krystol" crystallization technology, generates millions of elongated crystals within the concrete to fill capillary pores, establishing a robust waterproofing barrier and thereby enhancing overall structural durability.
The project team emphasized the necessity of waterproofing the structure and maintaining its humidity within 8% before proceeding with subsequent structural reinforcement measures. Key reinforcement materials utilized for enhancing waterproofing performance included POLYKKO® PS-1k and MEGA MEMBRANE. These materials are pre-polymerized caulking substances known for their exceptional elasticity and durability in repairing concrete cracks, mitigating water ingress, and extending the building's longevity. Additionally, MEGA MEMBRANE, a triple-layered, non-woven, thermoplastic polyethylene membrane, was utilized to replace conventional fiberglass mesh in leakage-prone areas such as internal and external corners, offering superior waterproofing and crack-resistant capabilities and thereby enhancing overall structural integrity. Throughout the intermediate and advanced phases of construction, a comprehensive series of inspection procedures will be implemented to validate the efficacy of the waterproofing system.
