Poly Shanghai Champagne Hexi Club

Poly Shanghai Champagne Hexi Club is located in the core area of East Bund in Yangpu District, Shanghai, south of the Huangpu River and facing Lujiazui across the river. This area combines the illuminated beauty of the Huangpu River with the livable charm of traditional alleys. Our aim is to create a flagship elderly care center here.

Building on the original Hexi Club's design elements such as "home," "childhood," "open community," "color," and "style," we are exploring how to incorporate Shanghai's rich cultural heritage using modern design language. The goal is to create a truly unique and culturally distinctive eldercare space—the Shanghai Flagship 2.0 version of Hexi Club. This space aims to provide a tranquil and comfortable retreat as well as a homely and pleasant experience for the elderly in the bustling and lively downtown area of Shanghai.

In terms of design style, we have extracted common elements from Art Deco, emphasizing straight lines and geometric patterns. In the selection of materials and colors, we have integrated gentle flowing architectural lines into natural textures, occasionally highlighting exquisite details of classic elegance. We also use color combined with signage to enhance the elderly's spatial recognition.
