Situated on The Fifth Avenue, Tianjin, Longyan· Charcoal Grilled Yakitori presents a setting for a serene dining experience amidst this hustling and bustling city. The external facade of the restaurant faces the street, featuring a nostalgic and introverted architectural design crafted from vintage red bricks. Stepping in, the space is dominated by Japanese Wabi-sabi, characterized by clean lines and natural materials. The floor is paved with black rough stone, while the ceiling is finished with gray textured paint, creating a steady and consistent ambiance. This combination of materials and colors not only highlights the elegance of the design but also establishes a solid visual foundation for the overall atmosphere. The wall decorations reveal the raw beauty of natural stone, bringing out its untouched texture with delicacy. The blend of raw wood elements and furniture adds a touch of simplicity and nature to the overall setting. In terms of lighting design, numerous hidden light sources replace the traditional main lighting method, resulting in a unique interplay between brightness and dimness. The fine-dimmed brightness of the lights enormously enhances the immersion and hierarchy of the interior space. For private boxes, the designers have adopted a layout strategy that combines semi-hidden and wide-open spaces, which is expected to suit the diverse dining preferences of customers. To ensure a consistent spatial experience, these private areas strictly adhere to the design concept of the main public space, rendering a serene and authentic atmosphere. It is further noted that the private boxes are ornamented with traditional full mural paintings, giving a finishing touch to the decoration and enhancing the overall spatial ambiance. As a conventional masterpiece, it infuses the space with profound cultural characteristics. In general, an adherence to modern design principles and upholding of traditional Japanese aesthetics craft an unparalleled ambiance that evokes deep contemplation among its customers, offering an exceptional dining experience that is both sensible and mindful.
