HAION Caster

The site is an old factory with a dated dark red brick exterior and an interior layout that no longer meets current needs. During the pandemic, when there were fewer visitors, the owner seized the opportunity to renovate the building. This project aimed to enhance both the appearance and functionality of the space, incorporating cultural heritage to create a modern office environment that is both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
For the exterior renovation, block-shaped gray and black stone, along with concrete, covered the old dark red color, creating a distinctive and elegant look. Complemented by warm-toned plantings, the approach balances the spatial perception.
The space planning adjusted the entrance direction to create a smoother flow. New windows and doors were installed to bring in natural light, creating a bright and spacious office environment.
In addition to addressing functionality and modern aesthetics, the design innovatively integrates the founder's father's calligraphy into the signage, creatively interpreting this valuable memory and heritage.
