On September 5, 2022, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Luding County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China, which caused varying degrees of damage to the roads in the Hailuogou Scenic Area and Moxi Town. With the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts for around a year, the development of infrastructure in the Hailuogou Scenic Area has been organically integrated with the vision of people's happiness, which aims to bring convenience and aspirations for a better life to the residents.
The post-earthquake reconstruction of Hailuogou not only aims to restore the affected areas to their pre-disaster state but also involves the development of a series of complementary projects including buildings, infrastructure, and environmental protection measures to further meet the needs of tourists. This includes the construction of ancillary facilities such as guesthouses for Ganheba, Caohai Lake, Crescent Moon Lake, Sunshine Peak, and Camp No. 4.
The hotel, through extensive floor-to-ceiling window design, considers the surrounding magnificent natural landscape, while the glacier-themed decorative art in public areas extends the natural scenery indoors, allowing guests to fully appreciate the local natural beauty. Due to the significant temperature difference between day and night in the area, warm-toned interior decorations, comfortable furniture, and the inclusion of warm fireplaces in the interior design create a warm and relaxing space for guests to enjoy their holiday. Additionally, the hotel provides a variety of supporting services, with its restaurant and shared lounge meeting guests' daily needs and enriching their vacation experience.
