LOVE NEW TAIPEI CITY Fall in LOVE with ZHONGGANG

Every year on March 14th, which is also known as White Valentine's Day, the Zhong-Gang Drainage in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City presents a themed projection mapping exhibition. The Zhong-Gang Drainage is an man-made river and this exhibition has become one of the most anticipated events for the people of New Taipei City. The 2024 Hsin-Chuang District’s Zhonggang Drainage Projection Mapping Exhibition is an enchanting event that will transport visitors to a magical world of love and light. The theme of the exhibition is "Love at First Sight: Exploring Zhonggang in New Taipei City". It will revolve around the stunning Zhonggang Drainage as the centerpiece and combine millions of LED lights to create a mesmerizing projection. The exhibition will also celebrate White Valentine's Day, which falls on March 14th. The primary featuring elements of the exhibition are "Love, Zhonggang, White Valentine's Day, and MRT station". These elements symbolize the love symbol of projection mapping and lighting design, and immersive projection mapping. The exhibition will feature 6 major social media check-in spots such as "Guardian of Love, Canal of Love, Sailing on the Sea of Love, Lovers Under the Moonlight, Crash Landing on You, and Love Swing.”
The lighting design team utilized a variety of creative and intricate designs, each with a distinct theme, to enhance their lighting models. Their objective was to create a romantic and exclusive atmosphere for each couple by infusing the night with pink bubbles, resulting in a beautiful and romantic experience full of deep emotions. The team focused on the theme of "Love, Zhonggang, White Valentine's Day, and MRT stations," linking it with the English language to make it more relatable to the younger generation, thereby increasing online visibility and social media posts. The team's ability to connect with the younger generation while maintaining a romantic and exclusive atmosphere is a notable achievement. The projection mapping is comprised of a steel structure and iron parts, with LED lighting materials and programmable control LED lights. All LED lights used in the exhibition have been designed to achieve optimal energy-saving effects.
