Located in the Qinhan New City of the Xixian New Area, the project consists of two plots. Plot A covers an area of 57,002 square meters with a total building area of 123,787.04 square meters, while Plot B covers an area of 37,759 square meters with a total building area of 79,585.46 square meters. It primarily focuses on constructing factories and supporting offices. The project is centered around the Qinhan Health Industry Park, leveraging the influential role of the Air Force Medical University in the field of comprehensive health. It integrates key projects, platforms, and enterprises in the health industry within the region, aiming to create a pioneering demonstration zone for the comprehensive health industry in China, encompassing life sciences, health industry, and health services.
As the Phase 1 of the project is already under construction with a significant building capacity, Phase 2 aims to complement and elevate the Phase 1 project by embracing four key changes: 1, Change in overall strategy: Striving for a higher-quality group of enterprises, shifting from pursuing cost-effective products through sales-driven and maximum quantity-oriented layouts to emphasizing industry quality and high value-added configurations; 2, Change in industrial clients: Transitioning from a traditional medical equipment park design to a focus on healthy subsectors with promising development potential; 3, Change in architectural products: Upgrading spatial products to create higher value-added offerings; 4, Change in urban image: Establishing a park brand and a quality urban interface.
The overall spatial layout of the project incorporates the logic of inward-facing life forms and the historical and cultural heritage of Xi’an. It features a north-south central axis and a multi-progressive spatial sequence, creating a multi-level spatial experience. The main entrance on the north side stands out with two iconic high-rise buildings and is strengthened by an overhead space connection through aerial walkways, resulting in a distinctive and thematic entrance space. Above the overhead space, a circular void is created, echoing the traditional Chinese moon gates in gardens, while beneath it, a combination of circular water features and sculptures depicting life and greenery forms a unique and theme-aligned entrance image space.
