FORESKY Exhibition Hall

The project is located at No. 1 Huaixin Street, Beijing, China, surrounded by large urban green spaces such as Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park, Huaixin Park, and Haizi Park, creating a favorable atmosphere for a healthy lifestyle.
Previously used as community supporting businesses, the project scope includes renovation of the commercial facade, interior, and landscape design.
As the pace of life and stress levels of modern urbanites increase daily, a good marketing center doesn't just showcase products. More importantly, it conveys a lifestyle and a mental solace to resonate deeply with its audience.
The project is located in the city's core area. Observing the maxim "prosperity is easy to attain, tranquility is hard to find", our challenge lies in creating a peaceful sanctuary amidst the noise and fast pace of city life, where one can experience nature and quietude.
We employ pure and minimalist design to isolate the noise of the city and the inner conflicts and anxieties, constructing a spiritual territory that fits the modern individual.
The main bodies of the building and landscape wall are made of light-colored materials. They are composed of simple geometric shapes, while the facade language is carefully crafted with planar aesthetics. We used various-sized windows to integrate forms and functions, balancing light intake and creating a sense of ceremony.
To achieve the united feeling of "complete cutting" in the project's volume, we used white faux-stone paint to avoid the problem of seams due to material size limit, with Anai board as the base layer. After five levels of crack prevention treatment, multiple layers of crack-resistant mortar were used to level and crack-proof the building's surface, ultimately achieving a strong sculptural effect.
The landscape flawlessly meshes with the architecture. The wall and the building materials blend seamlessly together, creating a pure and romantic atmosphere. The front space is set with a high still water surface that perfectly reflects the building, creating a surreal and pristine aesthetic. The elevated water surface also lengthens the pedestrian circulation route, enhancing the immersive experience and providing a soothing and relaxing environment.
