The Three Letters and Six Rites form the core framework of traditional Chinese wedding customs. The Chinese Bridal Collection draws from the bridal attire to highlight three of the most representative ceremonial expressions—the Phoenix Crown, the Silk Ball, and the Rosy Cloud Scarf—each with dedicated ritual significance. It blends intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship, traditional Chinese wedding motifs, and contemporary jewelry expression to give the pieces an emotional essence shaped by commitment, a blessed union, and a sense of wedding ritual.
These three pieces retain their defining silhouettes and ceremonial order, incorporating filigree motifs, loong-and-phoenix elements, gemstone embellishments, and draping details to establish a cohesive identity. Through geometric composition, layered structure, and symmetrical arrangement, they carry forward Eastern wedding aesthetics while elevating traditional ceremonial symbols into a contemporary jewelry expression:
The Phoenix Crown incorporates the majestic presence of the imperial Nine-Loong & Nine-Phoenix Crown, embodying loongs and phoenixes ascending in love—a symbol of an eternal union. It carries forward the artistry of a national treasure, and turns royal wedding grandeur into a testament of commitment.
The Rosy Cloud Scarf employs a unique gold-weaving technique to create a soft, wearable fabric base with a fabric-like draping texture. Its phoenix motifs, with four-color gemstones, carry the promise of enduring love, while tassels and pendants sway gently with the wearer's movements—breathing new life into this thousand-year-old ceremonial attire for today.
The Silk Ball originates from the wedding hand‑tying ritual, capturing—through chasing and filigree techniques—the interplay of a loong and a phoenix dancing around a golden sphere.
The handle is carved with loong-and-phoenix tail-feather patterns using woodcarving, where the warmth of wood and radiance of gold complement each other. Together, the loong-and-phoenix carry the meaning of two hearts bound as one, facing life in unwavering devotion.
All pieces in the collection feature a unique detachable design, transforming ceremonial wedding objects into separate everyday jewelry items—extending the role of bridal jewelry beyond the wedding day and weaving love and commitment into the couple's daily wardrobe, embodying the belief in "a lifetime of togetherness".
