Guangzhou Galaxy Shengshi Jincheng Prime Haven

The design draws from the intellectual and artistic spirit of Paris’s 6th arrondissement, taking Simone de Beauvoir’s philosophy, “I never wait passively; I choose to live,” as its conceptual point of departure. Rather than reproducing the visible image of Paris, the design translates its underlying spirit into a contemporary domestic experience, creating a refined lifestyle defined by introspection, cultural depth and understated sophistication.
Within the 110-square-metre framework, embossed textures, cut-velvet fabrics and naturally patinated metals create a hazy, smoke-softened atmosphere, while carefully choreographed circulation and partially concealed lighting divide the interior into successive layers of spatial depth. Low-saturation ivory, pale camel, warm coffee and oatmeal tones establish a muted palette, complemented by marble, parquetry, raw metal and natural timber. The living room combines a French classical rug, sculptural lighting and carefully selected furnishings to create a restrained yet artistic social setting.
Material contrasts continue throughout the dining area, kitchen and private spaces. Cut-velvet upholstery reveals shifting tones under changing light, creating a dialogue with the solidity of metal and marble. Concealed storage maintains visual order, while silver decanters, porcelain, botanical elements and vintage objects introduce a quiet French dining ritual. In the master bedroom, geometric parquetry, warm timber, burl wood and tactile textiles create an intimate retreat, while filtered daylight and a vintage lounge chair establish a relaxed reading corner. The children’s room uses soft, rounded furniture and environmentally considerate textiles to provide an open setting for imagination and creativity.
The bathroom continues the language of French elegance through an aged-brass mirror, vintage glass sconces and marble surfaces. Across the residence, furniture placement, textiles, light and shadow work together to establish a subtle emotional rhythm. Vintage objects and contemporary sculptures enter into dialogue, while the restrained palette recedes into the shadows, allowing material, light and atmosphere to shape a domestic environment that is inward-looking, organic and quietly expressive.
