Cloud Shadow

Cloud Shadow draws inspiration from the poetic landscapes of Jiangnan, where distant mountains, drifting clouds, and misty rain converge into a quiet expression of Eastern aesthetics. The design takes restrained geometric lines as its visual signature, translating the layered beauty of traditional Chinese landscapes into a contemporary door form.

Rather than relying on elaborate carving or decorative motifs, the door uses clean vertical lines to create a sense of rhythm and depth. Alternating solid and open visual relationships suggest distant mountain ranges and flowing clouds, evoking the hazy atmosphere of Jiangnan after rain. The simplicity of the geometry allows the imagination to complete the landscape, transforming the door surface into an abstract interpretation of ink-wash scenery.
