Bar Cabinet ORION

The Orion Bar Cabinet is a sculptural celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and contemporary luxury. Created by KANTTARI in exclusive cooperation with Latvian glass artist Artis Nīmanis, Orion transforms the traditional bar cabinet into a collectible design object — where architecture, light, and materiality converge.

Inspired by celestial geometry and the quiet mystique of the Orion constellation, the cabinet presents a monolithic silhouette crafted from brushed aluminium in a refined silver tone. Its clean architectural planes frame a luminous circular centerpiece: a hand-formed art-glass handle, designed and created by Artis Nīmanis. The handle functions as both a practical element and a jewel-like focal point, reflecting light and adding depth to the cabinet’s sculptural façade.

When closed, Orion stands as a bold and minimalist statement. When opened, it reveals a dramatic interior designed for sophisticated hosting. The cabinet’s back-lit marble surface glows warmly, creating an atmospheric backdrop for curated spirits and glassware. Integrated glass holders are seamlessly built into the doors, while precision-crafted drawers provide storage for mixology tools and accessories. A custom glass oyster display plate and dedicated oyster-opening tools elevate entertaining into a refined ritual.

Two integrated wine cooler drawers ensure optimal storage conditions for white wine and champagne, while additional drawers offer space for bar essentials. Each drawer is meticulously lined with genuine ostrich leather, including leather-wrapped handles, adding a tactile richness and a sense of exclusivity.

Entirely handcrafted in Latvia, Orion reflects KANTTARI’s dedication to artisanal excellence and bespoke production. From metal brushing to marble illumination and custom glasswork, every detail is shaped by hand, making each piece subtly unique.
