The “Life Goes On” Concert Tour is built around the concept of a “Steel City”, transforming the stage from a traditional performance backdrop into an immersive urban environment that carries stories and emotions. Inspired by nearly three decades of Power Station's musical journey, each song represents a different chapter of life, inviting audiences to discover their own reflections through music, architecture, light, and space.
The stage is defined by four monumental steel structures composed of exposed rebar, pipes, trusses, and industrial elements. These construction materials are reinterpreted as architectural language, creating a distinctive cityscape with depth, scale, and a strong spatial identity. Rather than relying on changing scenery, the permanent steel framework continuously evolves through lighting, LED visuals, and kinetic stage systems, allowing the same architectural environment to express different emotions and narratives throughout the performance.
The opening features the artists descending on a suspended elevator platform, introducing a vertical spatial narrative that symbolizes the courage to rise after life's setbacks. A movable thrust stage extends deep into the audience, dissolving the boundary between performers and spectators while creating a more immersive and participatory experience.
By integrating architecture, spatial design, stage engineering, and immersive storytelling, “Life Goes On” transforms the venue into a living Steel City that embodies memory, emotion, and the journey of life, reminding every audience member that, despite every setback, life goes on.
