This art space integrates a sales center with a multifunctional reading lounge. As Greentown Group’s first artistic residential project in Chongqing’s urban area, it aims to break away from the homogeneous designs commonly seen in the market and cater to mid-end and mid-to-high-end families who seek high-quality living experiences and have refined artistic taste.
The art space is divided into the demonstration area and the public area. It integrates diverse functions including reception, discussion, reading, and fitness, creating a space suitable for users of all ages. Guided by the “Water–Flower–Time” triple spiral narrative, the space transforms the natural floral culture of the Ba-Yu region and urban culture into artistic design language. The circulation follows the seasonal journey of “Arrival (Lobby) – Conversation (Discussion Area) – Epiphany (Reading Lounge) – Relaxation (Fitness Area),” creating an orderly transition between active and quiet zones while enhancing both the property viewing experience and the ritual of arrival.
To alleviate the stress of urban living and create a relaxed and soothing atmosphere, the art space adopts a holistic approach to the design of interior finishes, soft furnishings, and CMF. A low-saturation light color palette sets the base, with warm jade-like stones defining its contours and green accents highlighting key visual points. Soft furnishings reinterpret local elements such as camellias and water ripples through simplified forms, creating a cohesive spatial narrative. A diverse range of materials, including translucent glass, mother-of-pearl, ripple acrylic, fine metal, and textiles, are extensively applied. The contrast between transparency and solidity, as well as cool and warm textures, creates spatial depth. Through the changing effects of light across different material surfaces, it conveys the poetic beauty of the different seasons. In addition, spatial proportions are tailored to different functional needs, and furniture adopts rounded edges to ensure safety for users of all ages. Through flexible multifunctional layouts, the space adapts seamlessly to various scenarios, including personal relaxation, parent-child bonding, social gatherings, and fitness activities.
