Hongmai Wellness Club

Hongmai Wellness Club locates in Yibin, Sichuan, covering 2,200 ㎡ with a total investment of 15 million RMB, designed in April 2025 and completed in January 2026 under Design Director Wen Zheping.
Against the upgrading urban leisure consumption, foot SPA has evolved from traditional therapy to young people’s daily lifestyle. To solve industrial homogenization, outdated aesthetics and weak social attributes, we take youth-orientation, local culture, healing sense and sociality as core design tenets, adhering to the logic of "function as framework, aesthetics as appearance, culture as soul, emotion as context".
We restructure consumer experience by integrating check-in zones and interactive scenes to form a full cycle of leisure, socializing and physical healing. Ditching cumbersome retro styles, low-saturation tones, natural materials and soft light build a contemporary healing aesthetic for mental relief. We abstract oriental wellness philosophy instead of rigid antique copying, translating traditional health culture into perceptible spatial experience. The layered layout of open social areas, semi-private zones and exclusive therapy rooms satisfies solo relaxation and group gatherings alike, upgrading the venue into a youth social hub and emotional recharge station.
This project sets a replicable benchmark for the youth transformation of the wellness industry, realizing the dual win of contemporary inheritance of oriental health culture and sustainable commercial growth.
