Themed on “urban sanctuary,” CHAOER incorporates the clarity, independence, and sense of boundaries symbolized by zebra stripes into its bedding design, aiming to create a home sanctuary in cities where you can return to your true self.
Visually, the design moves away from complexity and uses golden-ratio asymmetrical composition to create a 7:3 balance of pattern and negative space. While preserving the recognizability of zebra stripes, their density is carefully adjusted to maintain visual balance. A low-saturation color palette of warm off-white and matte charcoal black evokes understated contemporary Chinese aesthetics and spatial aesthetics. Crafted from 100% Xinjiang long-staple cotton using refined weaving techniques, the fabric features a soft, silk-like sheen that echoes the delicate texture of zebra fur. Details such as concealed zippers harmonize practical functionality with visual appeal. The design language consistently extends across the whole series, carrying unified abstract zebra stripes and a low-saturation black-and-white palette across four-piece bedding sets, cooling mats, blankets, and plush products. With materials including Xinjiang long-staple cotton and Tencel, the series adapts to different seasons, scenarios, and tactile needs, delivering a full home experience from cool summer comfort to warm winter coziness.
The entire series is developed with a strong commitment to sustainability. Using formaldehyde-free and azo-free eco-friendly reactive dyeing processes and free of non-biodegradable chemical coatings, the bedding is fully biodegradable and recyclable. The packaging is made from biodegradable kraft paper instead of conventional plastic, significantly reducing environmental impact while combining sustainability with modern aesthetics.
