Overlooking the waterfront of Kaohsiung Harbor, this residence is conceived around the idea of “a vacation every time you come home.” Rather than replicating the aesthetics of a luxury hotel, the design reinterprets the hospitality experience as a deeply personal retreat—one that responds to the demanding lifestyle of a young entrepreneur and offers a place for restoration, privacy, and emotional recharge.

A palette of deep browns, charcoal greys, and earthy tones establishes a calm and immersive atmosphere throughout the home. At the heart of the design is a handcrafted feature wall finished with an eco-friendly Italian specialty coating. Created through multiple layers of manual application, the surface evokes the textures of mineral deposits, weathered stone, and coastal landscapes, giving the residence a unique identity that cannot be replicated. Soft curves and layered lighting further balance the richness of the dark interior, creating warmth without sacrificing sophistication. Framed by expansive harbor views, the residence transforms everyday living into an experience of quiet luxury, where comfort, scenery, and personal rituals seamlessly converge.
