On the expansive waterfront of Lucheng Binjiang in Wenzhou, MOOOMA Design has crafted a spiritual dwelling inspired by oceanic imagery. The design meticulously deconstructs the lines, textures, and colors of the sea, integrating them into the spatial flow and furnishings, interweaving them with Wenzhou's local intangible cultural heritage to reveal a restrained yet continuous sense of fluidity.
Guided by the spirit of "International Oriental," large floor-to-ceiling windows invite natural light, unfurling a scene of "Glistening Ripples." The flocculent veining within the jade seems to appear and disappear like moonlight on water, while travertine retains its natural texture. Olive green and pearl white complement each other. Materials respond in details—velvet, linen, and suede unfold across different corners, scales are intentionally slowed, and luxury lies hidden within proportions and textures.
From the extended lines of the "Wave Texture" at the entrance, to the gentle close of "Afterglow" in the dining area; from the patina of the vintage Jorge Zalszupin single sofa in the study, to the master bedroom where light learns to linger—every corner flows quietly within the rhythm of daily life. The daughter's room is delicately accented with pearls, while the son's room presents a rational order for growth. This dwelling both carries the romantic essence of the ocean and harbors the emotional memory of Ouyue culture, allowing life to find its harbor of the heart in the depths of the tide.
