Rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Jining, this project integrates elements of Dongyi Culture, Confucian Culture, and Canal Culture, inspired by the oriental landscape concept of Autumn Colors on the Que and Hua Mountains. By extracting natural traits such as clear springs, streams, and ancient city streets, it forms a connection between architecture and nature, merging historical significance with contemporary perspectives.
The design innovatively applies the principles of “Picturesque Composition,” inspired by Song Dynasty landscape paintings. Spatial framed-view techniques create layered, dynamic scenes within scenes, embodying the essence of oriental spatial aesthetics. Using traditional symbols like “Stones as Mountains, Tiles as Waves,” the project blends classical forms with contemporary design materials to create a harmonious fusion of culture and modernity.
The functional layout is carefully planned, featuring three main sections: the sales gallery, show units, and public areas. The sales gallery is organized with independent circulation paths, ensuring an uninterrupted property viewing experience. The show units offer both essential and upgraded housing, with clear separation between active and private spaces, tailored to family needs. Public areas, including ground and standard floors, underground spaces, and garages, adhere to fire safety and accessibility codes, integrating natural light and landscape features.
In terms of materiality, the project utilizes stone, wood veneer, and perforated aluminum panels, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. The design emphasizes a minimalist oriental style, creating a unified yet distinctive spatial ambiance. Solutions to challenges like spatial scale, material selection, and underground space quality ensure that the design is both practical and culturally enriched.
Highly durable materials are selected to promote long-term sustainability, with public spaces designed for long-term use. The project seamlessly blends regional culture with contemporary living, offering a high-quality urban living model while preserving local humanistic heritage.
