At the crossroads of modern innovation and timeless classicism, this space is designed to transcend utility, becoming a vessel to be felt and revisited. Positioned between residential neighborhoods and the urban fabric, it redefines a once-overlooked grey space into a social hub that adapts to contemporary lifestyles while allowing for future evolution.
The design is rooted in scenario-based principles, where functionality, experiences, and human behavior coalesce. Key spaces, such as the reading area, facilitate interaction and engagement through carefully curated furniture, like multi-functional long tables, circular sofa clusters, and modular seating. These elements transform the space into a community living room that nurtures both solitude and social connection. Materials such as fabric, woodwork, and matte leather are selected to foster a serene atmosphere, where light, shadow, and subtle color gradients create emotional resonance.
In the children’s area, playful and tactile design elements—like spherical ottomans and curved stools—embrace both physical needs and imagination. Inspired by “Alice in Wonderland,” the play zone features whimsical installations that guide children from reality into a fantastical world, creating distinct memory anchors that fuel creativity.
The dining area balances formal and casual functions, combining rich wood tones and metallic accents to cultivate an atmosphere of warmth. This integration of textures makes the space a vital emotional hub for gathering, ensuring comfort and connection within the community. The bar and tea area further enhance social interaction, offering open spaces for conversation by day and transformation into a lounge by night, while also incorporating age-friendly considerations.
The hobby workshop provides a flexible space for crafts and shared activities, creating bonds between neighbors. A shared meeting room blends modern minimalism with Eastern aesthetics to foster a calm, professional environment. Through this poetic approach, the design fosters emotional connections, making this public space a nurturing extension of home life.
