New World

This project is a flat-type residence located in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, situated on a high floor with ample natural light. The view from the windows, where the river scenery blends with the cityscape, provides the space with an open perspective and abundant natural light.

The interior has a usable area of 90m², designed to create a tranquil retreat for a single man amidst the bustling city. By using natural and industrial materials, an open-space layout, and smooth circulation, the dark-toned minimalist home allows its occupant to return to self and rationality, taking a brief rest before facing life anew.
