This project uses a "light sense of layering" as its main axis, redefining modern light-luxury living through the contrast of material textures and the fluidity of light. The understated reflective properties of tinted-gray mirrors create visual depth in the entryway and dining areas, blurring boundaries without overwhelming the space. Glass and timber open shelving coexist, with semi-transparent structures balancing display needs and practicality. Indirect lighting not only softens architectural forms but also creates a gradient halo within the curvilinear stream. Grounded in a low-saturation palette, the design turns function into an atmospheric experience through the delicate interplay of light and shadow, making the abstract concept of "Happy Dwelling" perceptible as spatial poetry.
The space centers on an open-plan public area, using continuous curvilinear vocabulary to create unobstructed yet clearly layered circulation. Arched sliding doors and portal structures serve as directional guides, and replace the frequently seen right angles with soft transitions, symbolizing the inclusiveness and emotional connection of home. By discarding conventional rigid frameworks for hand-sculpted curved walls and recessed light strips, light becomes the medium that defines zones. This approach conceals beam-and-column structures and elevates the nighttime ambiance. The design harmonizes sharp perspectives and cold textures, symbolizing the healing and settling of residents' emotions and allowing practical function and emotional experience to blend seamlessly.
The entryway design serves as both a functional boundary and a threshold for emotional transition. By pairing vertical lines and polished materials with curated lighting, the design focuses visual accents on the vertical plane, creating a rhythmic progression that evokes a sense of ritual upon arrival.
The project exploits low-formaldehyde wood veneers, non-toxic and eco-friendly paints, and energy-efficient lighting, which reduces volatile harmful substances and balances user health with environmental responsibility. The design integrates aesthetics and functionality into daily life, skillfully extending the brand’s core philosophy of Emotion-Oriented and People-First. Through delicate material textures and soft spatial lines, it shapes a recognizable style. It adds a spiritual dimension of healing and empathy, deepening the value of design as a vessel for life.
