Dream Home

The project is a complete renovation of a 109 square meters, 20-year-old apartment for a family of four, realized as their long-envisioned “Dream Home.” The design team employed a light American style with modernized storage, balancing style and function. The social area is framed in black, white, and gray with simple moldings, louvered storage, and layered lighting to establish fresh contours. The living room integrates a 7.1-channel home theater, while the dining-kitchen area features dual counters and magnetic enamel backsplash panels to support the wife’s baking and cooking. A dedicated baseball batting and fitness room was constructed with shock-absorbing panels and gym flooring for safe training.
The entryway is defined by black-and-white tiles, while the TV cabinet top employs black stone with golden veining for refinement. The sofa in pale gray-green balances warm and cool tones with the walls, while cabinetry and moldings maintain the light American rhythm with modern detailing. After renovation, the living-dining area became the family’s frequently used space, where they now share meals, movies, and reading. The design successfully transformed two decades of living habits into a spatial order that supports both memory and future growth.
