The greatest value of the stage play lies not only in its entertainment but in its ability to transform environmental education into concrete action. Overall, the event was not merely a theatrical performance, but an educational campaign that expands outward—from individuals to families to society—encouraging sustainable behavior through layered dissemination.
The play was inspired by three environmental education picture books selected by local environmental agencies: “Little Carbon Guardian—Return to the Good Times,” “Nini’s Last Wish,” and “Poco’s Great Adventure.” These works combine local culture with environmental issues, making the subject matter both familiar and imaginative. By adapting them into a stage production, the messages of climate change, energy conservation, carbon reduction, and resource recycling were conveyed in a lively, dramatic format.
The project’s core motivation is that environmental education must be rooted in childhood and delivered through play. By presenting adventurous stories in a parent-child setting, the performance guides audiences to understand environmental protection through interaction, while inspiring concrete action toward sustainable development.
