TAIJI TEA TABLE draws inspiration from the Chinese philosophy of Taiji, integrating the concept of Yin-Yang, which describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, into modern home furniture. It combines modern aesthetics and oriental philosophy, bringing an all-new home aesthetic experience.
This tea table resembling the Taijitu consists of two symmetrical modules, with each including a round seat and a corresponding Yin or Yang table. When two modules are merged, a complete Tijitu is formed. If two persons enjoy tea at this time, their seats will be very close, with their cups placed on each other's table. This ingenious design strengthens the bond and interaction between the two sitting opposite each other, reflects the concept of interconnection and interdependence of Taiji, and interprets harmonious co-existence between traditional elements and modern designs.
TAIJI TEA TABLE is mainly made of natural timber, embodying respect for nature and sustainability, echoing the philosophy of living in harmony with nature advocated by Taoism, and bridging the gap between humans and nature.
