Luxury Villa

.Kunshan is the birthplace of Kunqu Opera, which is an art form that best represents the traditional Chinese aesthetic of lyricism, expressionism, symbolism and poeticization. It is a performance style that combines song, dance, poetry and drama into a refined and elegant form. Luxury Villa is located on the core axis of Kunshan. The space designer takes artworks as the main thread, connecting the exhibition spaces one by one to create an experiential cultural and artistic space. The art gallery reconfigures the traditional opera space with a "garden tour" style of movement lines.

The designer used the metal wire weaving technique to create a large original artwork - Kunyue Shadow Dance. This artwork takes the old and makes it new, using space as the shadow and culture as the form. Through the combination of traditional elements and modern techniques, it uses the flowing lines of metal ribbons to showcase the elegant posture and dynamic beauty of Kunqu Opera dancers. Each ribbon symbolizes the rhythm and cadence of Kunqu Opera, as if dancing in the air, telling the story of the ancient opera and carrying forward the cultural heritage.
