Yiwu Lakeside Home

In this project, straight wood-grain marble and Bulgari marble are used for the flooring. The marble’s textures, resembling the flow of wind and water, possess a natural charm that seems to influence the overall ambiance of the home. To complement these organic patterns, the flooring design continues the use of natural textures, creating a harmonious match with the marble’s natural grain. Additionally, the dining side cabinet employs a “box design” approach, refining the sense of detail. Using architectural techniques, the framed open display cabinet showcases artworks in an orderly fashion, presenting the power of art in an organized manner.

Two movable screens, custom-made with the first letter "H" of the homeowner's name, add privacy, playfulness, and a sense of belonging to the living and dining areas. Near the floor-to-ceiling windows, a combination of a raised platform and sofa is designed to create a more cohesive space. Through clever spatial planning, a vibrant environment is crafted. The living and dining areas echo each other in design and connect seamlessly in functionality, forming a whole that is both independent and unified.

The design of the master bedroom’s backdrop is inspired by the image of strong and protective arms, symbolizing the safeguarding of the homeowner and providing a profound sense of security. It skillfully integrates a sense of ceremony with basic living functions. Here, artistic flair and practicality intertwine, creating a warm yet elegant living environment for the residents.
