ZhengZhou SIC Super Headquarters Center - RUNFU Open Space

This project is located in Zhengzhou, Henan, and is a multifunctional, multi-business formats, and all-age community shared space designed by a team that focuses on the residential experience of the owner, using human perception as the primary measure. It aims to create a "five-minute premium living circle" for the residents, aligning with the future trends of urban living development.
The design team believes that the boundary of home should not be confined to traditional spatial layouts, but should extend to the community's public space, the "second living room." Therefore, the concept of "Neighborhood Aggregation New Ecology" was born.
The Children's Space adopts bright, high-saturation colors to reflect the lively and sunny nature of children. Here, kids can encounter the adorable "Ricky" from David Wiesner’s "The 7 Wonders of the Dream Factory" and wander through nature with him. The various books and activity facilities available cater to the needs of children at different developmental stages, encouraging them to unleash their natural selves.
Guided by the corridor, the Reading Space opens its arms to visitors seeking quiet and rest. Although it is a public space, its sense of independence allows residents to find their own personal space and engage in intimate conversations with the characters in the books. Meanwhile, the card-playing area and fitness zone provide spaces for residents to enjoy leisurely afternoons or engage in physical exercise.
The design team hopes this elevated level will become a bond for the future community, carrying diverse lifestyles. By incorporating spaces like the book lounge, co-creation space, children's space, and fitness facilities, the community connects with its residents and builds an ideal home for them, driving forward innovations in lifestyle and living experience.
