Inspired by the natural landscape and traditional lifestyle of Xinchang, the design team created an interior design project centered on elegance, class and sophistication. The project aspires to infuse an Italianate modern design language to provide a serene and culturally rich living environment for the residents. The project is inspired by the traditional architecture and water features unique to Xinchang Shaoxing, and integrates local culture into a modern design context. The core of the design is the warm texture of“green jade”, which resembles the ripples of water, creating a soft and tranquil atmosphere. At the same time, the contrast between the high-gloss shadow wood and the dark wood flooring adds a sense of visual hierarchy and creates a spatial rhythm of alternating light and darkness. The horizontal cabinets made of shadow wood skillfully divide the primary and secondary spaces, focusing on functional zoning while maintaining overall fluidity. The designers boldly try to incorporate Italian tones into it, utilizing its classic elegance and modern simplicity to give the space a calm atmosphere while balancing the traditional and contemporary aesthetics. The overall design effect presents deep regional characteristics and international vision, which not only inherits the cultural flavor, but also glows with both classic and fashionable artistic charm. During the design process, a major challenge for the designers was how to handle the stone and wood interface in a way that was both beautiful and durable, while not contradicting the overall design style. The owner's special request for a high degree of uniformity in detail required extensive customization of the project, including colors, materials, finishes and furniture. To achieve this overall harmonious aesthetic, extensive customization became an essential part of the design. Working closely with local artisans and manufacturers, the project team not only crafted a design that met the requirements, but also leveraged locally sourced materials and expertise to ensure a solution that balanced sustainability and design aesthetics.
