Space design concept:
This project is the second store of Hangzhou pioneer buyer mirage25 atelier, located in the street store of Zhongshan Middle Road, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou. It is a comprehensive retail store with clothing as its main focus, and also has multi-functional Spaces such as coffee and art exhibitions.
The project is located in a century-old house with two floors and a total area of about 1800 square meters. For the sake of historical preservation, the original brick walls, tiles and wooden beams have been preserved. Tracing back to the origins of the building, traces of the passage of time show up in this historic house. "Cut to the essence, but don't strip it of its rhyme, keep it clean and pure but don't strip it of its vitality." Adhering to this concept, we systematically study the parts of ancient houses that should be preserved and restored, and when the old and new are juxtaposed, they blend with each other and have a unique style.
