Despite covering only 3% of the landmass around the globe, known peatlands store at least double the carbon as standing forests in their near-natural state. RE:PEAT is a financial service that transforms peatland restoration results into tradable carbon credits. The motivation behind RE:PEAT is to incentivise landowner’s investment in peatland transition projects through creating transparency in peat soil’s carbon portfolio.

RE:PEAT is a digital tool that helps manage restoration by providing a set of visual, carbon-relevant indicators. This would assist landowners to effectively calculate and carefully monitor their restoration finances. We hope to create a frictionless financial experience for peatland owners by equipping peatland owners with essential information, allowing them to make informed decisions before engaging with a marketplace and buyers' community.

1. RE:alising PEAT
RE:PEAT highlights the financial value of peatland's unique power to sequester large amounts of carbon, as well as all its co-benefits

2. RE:evaluating PEAT
With the service, peatland owners can add the relevant historical data to work out their impact.

3. RE:storing PEAT
RE:PEAT offers robust project monitoring tools that provide useful cost-revenue-impact analytics for peatland owners to make appropriate adjustments and decisions

4. RE:profitising PEAT
The service transforms restoration results into tradable credits. Meanwhile, climate-focused buyers will be able to invest in reliable, meaningful projects to offset their climate impact.
