This project aims to create an innovative congregate housing design featuring two modern buildings. Each building will stretch 13 to 14 floors into the sky, with an additional 3 floors extending underground. The surrounding area is teeming with top-tier educational institutions, easy access to transportation, and a variety of entertaining amenities. Moreover, residents will be treated to a breathtaking vista of the riverbank and mountains. The entire design concept revolves around the idea of "harmony between architecture and environment." The design team aspires to craft residential buildings that are not only visually appealing, but also promote a sustainable and eco-friendly way of living. Ultimately, the goal is for these buildings to stand as a significant and iconic addition to the local urban landscape, offering a fresh and desirable lifestyle choice for the community.
The design of the project draws inspiration from the serene waterfront, incorporating silver metallic horizontal lines that gracefully intertwine to mimic the fluidity and softness of the water. These layers create a gentle and dynamic visual effect, reminiscent of sunlight dancing on the water's surface. The intention is to establish a distinctive aesthetic that captures the essence of waterfront living.
The architects carefully selected gray glass and silver-gray metal panels as the primary building materials for the façade. This deliberate choice was made to seamlessly integrate the structure with its natural surroundings, ensuring the building doesn't disrupt the environment. The use of these materials not only gives the building a lightweight and sleek appearance, but also allows the glass to reflect the stunning mountain and river views, creating a harmonious connection with the surrounding landscape. Furthermore, the incorporation of the elegantly curved deep sunshade design serves to enhance both the visual appeal and practical functionality of the entire building.
The design of the building goes beyond just its physical form; it also embraces a human-centered approach. By stepping back the building, it allows for the creation of a vibrant public open space, which is complemented by a variety of lush greenery and diverse public amenities.
