Twilight

As the design process began, the homeowner expressed his desire for the ultimate retreat- a space that could ease the tension in his body and soul after a long day at work. The homeowner envisioned a serene residential environment with a pure and soft color scheme. Therefore, the designers worked towards his vision, incorporating an abundance of natural elements and creating a wabisbai-style residence. The team planned earthy mineral paints that imitated the natural environment to carefully craft the details of the rocks and added curved elements to soften the space and create a quiet and harmonious atmosphere. The result was a space that exuded tranquility. As the sun sets, the residence transforms into a peaceful sanctuary, offering a stunning view of the mountains, the sound of gurgling water, and a quiet atmosphere that allows one to fully embrace a moment of calm away from the bustling city.
 The interior space is designed with an open layout that integrates the living room, dining room, and study. Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide a bright and open space for residents to engage in various activities. Moreover, the kitchen is separated by a glass sliding door, which maintains the lighting of the area and prevents fumes from escaping while cooking. The designer has planned ample storage space, skillfully connecting the cabinets to the wall to create a practical and beautiful residential space.
To create an organic, serene, and peaceful living space, the designer employed artistic paints to decorate the main wall and coated the TV wall's underside with a beautiful mineral finish that imitates the natural rocky texture. By combining this with the reflection of sunlight, they successfully produced an image that resembles a calm mountain forest. Additionally, the designers took inspiration from the view of the river outside the window and implemented a curved design for the ceiling and part of the wall to create a sense of harmony between the interior and exterior of the building. Furthermore, the curved ceiling is illuminated with colorful indirect lighting, adding some color and creativity to the otherwise white space.
