MODERN SKY | INFINITE COSMOS

Modern Sky|Infinite Cosmos" (hereinafter referred to as "Infinite Cosmos") is a visual art work developed by the visual creative label MVM since 2017.

MVM is committed to completing the expansion and affirmation of contemporary people's self-knowledge, and the presentation method also ranges from illustration to music, video and other multiple carriers. Starting from the mandala, which represents the order of life in the universe, the work translates the "infinity" it points to into a story line and visual symbols, and uses the structure of the mandala to create the work "I", which guides people to look into the inner world.
Following these clues, "Infinite Cosmos" comes to Lhasa, Tibet to hold its first thematic exhibition.

Jibengang Art Centre is the first art gallery in Tibet to be converted from an ancient building, and the choice of releasing "Infinite Universe"'s observations and reflections on the world in which it lives is MVM's understanding of and reverence for the universe.
As the first digital art exhibition in Tibet, the exhibition is curated by renowned curator Li Zhenhua, and co-curated by Li Shuai, who put forward the concept of "Infinite Universe", inviting 13 artists to bring a new collision of traditional culture and art, creating a spiritual journey.

MVM has once again deconstructed and restored the "model of the universe" to the Super Strawberry Music Festival site. Based on the concept of "Infinite Universe", 20 groups of musicians/artists will build a scene with a strong sense of order, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in it and resonate with it.

The Sanskrit word mandala is generally understood as "circle", and in the original Indo-European language, its root meaning is closer to slow rotation. Just as we are always creating an infinite universe in a finite amount of time. In the future, we will continue to spread new life force with the end as the beginning.
