This wellness centre is located in a mixed residential and commercial area in Yonghe, Taiwan. The former structure was adorned with Balinese aesthetics, and underwent transformations providing it with a new style, while also expanding the surface of the complex.

For the enlargement of the structure, two adjacent stores were merged. The glass storefront floods the interior with natural light. Five majestic tree trunks link the two stores together, reminding of a grove, and inviting customers to step into this relaxing place.
Each corner boasts a unique design, employing a variety of materials and colour tones to prevent the space from feeling dull as customers, mostly regulars, sit and rest inside the shop.
Minimalism transforms the structure into a more elegant place and creates a pure and serene atmosphere. This new design invites ones to take a deep breath while enjoying a peaceful moment for oneself.

Beyond the storefront, lights transition between red, yellow, and blue. Synchronised with the duration it takes to walk from one storefront to the other, they mimic the rhythmic patterns of breathing. This captivating lighting effect not only draws attention to the storefront, but also creates an expansive, grand atmosphere by unifying elements together.

Combining modern minimalist elements with traditional Taiwanese design is a fantastic way to create a unique and vibrant atmosphere. The cobblestone on the walls indoors was preserved, connecting the space to its cultural roots.
A few adjustments were made to enhance employees’ working conditions, for instance by modifying space allowance and making it more convenient. Hence, the height of the reception counter is ergonomically designed for both standing and sitting, with storage underneath.
This renovation succeeded not only to raise customer satisfaction by enhancing their experience in this centre, but also in improving employees' well-being at work.
