Tide Breath

The site is a new apartment. The name, "Tide Breath", comes from the deepest vibration and resonance that the space gives to people's hearts. Located in Yancheng District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, the site has three sides of natural light and excellent visibility, with the sea in front and the mountains behind. The designer integrated the outdoor scenery into the interior, reinterpreting the Japanese wabi-sabi style, which specializes in dialogue with nature. with modern aesthetics, the designer satisfied the client's desire for comfort and relaxation.
With a combination of simple lines, pastel colors, and natural materials, the designers portrayed calmness and elegance. The obvious beams and pillars in the ceiling of the living room have been transformed into a wavy ceiling to increase the flow of the space. Indirect lighting adds a sense of warmth and echoes the sea view. The window-side lounge area allows people to enjoy the sea view and relax. Gray glass cabinets beautify the space and serve for display and storage. The open plan of the master bedroom enhances the practicality of the space and the enjoyment of the view.
