This design aims to create a warmer, more joyful, and commercially appealing packaging identity for pet food through emotionally resonant visual expression, elevating the packaging from a mere information carrier to an engaging medium of communication with pet owners.
Centered around the product’s “lava” (liquid-filled center) form, the packaging design translates the physical characteristics of the inner filling into a distinctive core graphic. Integrated with the warm motif of the sun, the outward-extending sunburst patterns simulate vibrant energy and visually echo the product’s core value: nourishing pets from the inside out and revitalizing their coats to keep them soft and glossy. Building upon this foundational “Lava + Sunburst” visual, the three flavor variants use the natural colors of their primary ingredients as their identifying palettes: the Sun series features a golden yellow tone to represent its fish oil and egg yolk content; the Berry series uses pink to highlight its red raspberries and cranberries, alongside purple for açaí berries; while the White Moonlight series, featuring goat colostrum as its core ingredient, adopts a light blue palette to emphasize a soft, pure aesthetic. This combination of a unified graphic and ingredient-driven colors maintains the visual consistency of the series while establishing clear visual distinctions among the flavors.
The packaging balances product display with point-of-sale effectiveness. The outer packaging utilizes a color-printed carton with an open-display structure optimized for retail shelves. This design allows the product name, core graphics, and highly saturated colors to be fully visible to consumers, enhancing recognition from a distance and shelf appeal. The individual cans seamlessly carry over the outer carton’s color scheme, sunburst textures, and the core “lava” graphic, creating a cohesive visual experience from the overall retail display down to the moment of individual use.
