"Ink & Fluidity" uses Zhishan Lake at the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum as its stage, translating Museum collections into an outdoor exhibition composed of water, light, imagery, lasers, and music.
The design team initiated concept and content curation in January 2026, establishing four water dance and lighting exhibition programs—"Fragrance of Blue and White," "Ink-Dyed Millennia," "Vibrant Jadeite," and "Splendid Asia"—based on artifacts, calligraphy, classic national treasures, and Asian culture.
Music and animation content design took place in May, followed by equipment manufacturing, on-site installation, system testing, and rehearsals in June, with official performances commencing on June 26.
The spatial design adopts an "arc-circle co-construction," where the outer arc responds to the open conditions of the lake area, and the central circular formation supplements visual depth. Technically, water shapes, imagery, lighting, lasers, and music are integrated through a shared timeline.
Following the premiere, continuous daily maintenance, equipment inspections, and pre-performance testing are implemented, integrating cultural narrative, spatial viewing, and large-scale outdoor systems within a single project while maintaining long-term operational stability.
