This pavilion invites visitors to explore the microscopic world that underpins all life on Earth, and the gut microbiome so intimately tied to human health.
The exhibition space is defined by generous negative space and a technological blue palette, merging rigorous microbiological science with a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
The design follows the natural arc of visitor cognition. Moving along a circular route, guests first encounter artistic graphics that make the invisible visible, rendering the microbial world legible and illuminating the symbiotic bond between microbes and the human body. A dynamic wall display simulates the intelligent production of probiotics, with each stage, fermentation, purification, low-temperature sterilization, and quality testing, lighting up in sequence to reveal the full journey from culture to finished product. In the science education zone, interactive screens and touch interfaces transform complex mechanisms into hands-on experiences, lowering the barrier to understanding.
The latter half of the visit shifts toward personalization. Guests input their health interests to receive intelligent strain recommendations, then use a petri-dish sensing disc linked to on-screen displays to access each strain's origin and full scientific mode of action.
The experience concludes in a gallery corridor, where lighting gently transitions between nature and science. Through an expansive floor-to-ceiling viewing window, visitors witness tonne-scale fermentation tanks and the precision of a GMP-grade production facility, gaining insight into strains for different functional applications. What begins as passive reception becomes active exploration, a complete loop from scientific understanding to lived experience.
