“Tactical Cardiology” is a runway collection born from the intersection of two defining personal experiences: my service as a military officer within an intelligence service and surviving a heart attack followed by stent implantation. The project translates the shared logic of two seemingly unrelated systems - the military system and the cardiovascular system—into the language of fashion. Rather than simply drawing visual inspiration from military structures and cardiology, it investigates how both operate through a similar sequence: protection, function, pressure, emergency, intervention and stabilization.
Developed through conceptual research and structured around six interconnected states - Shell, Mechanism, Pressure, Alert, Intervention and Stabilization - the collection follows the progression of the same body under pressure. Military garments, medical references and protective structures are transformed into wearable objects rather than conventional clothing. Each look explores a different condition of the body and the relationship between discipline and vulnerability, protection and exposure, survival and recovery.
By transforming lived experience into a structured visual language, “Tactical Cardiology” proposes fashion as a medium capable of carrying personal memory, translating complex systems and giving physical form to invisible human experiences.
