Carepill is a smart pillbox designed for seniors who struggle with complex medication schedules, forgetfulness, and limited dexterity. It provides clear reminders, large-text guidance, and effortless pill retrieval through an intuitive physical interface. The pill layout is organized around a one-week supply with three daily doses, a structure informed by user research showing that family members typically visit or check in on seniors on a weekly basis and help manage medication routines during these visits. A connected display allows remote monitoring and emotional support from family members. Its modular, repairable structure and reusable pill containers promote sustainability.
