The design explores the dual character of a modern city, where global vision coexists harmoniously with deeply rooted local culture. It reflects a cosmopolitan atmosphere that retains its inherent warmth and humanistic rhythm, forming an open and confident spatial narrative. Inspired by the concept of “strolling in a garden,” the space dissolves the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, allowing natural textures and shifting light to shape a calm and contemplative living experience.
Instead of relying on stacked volumes or rigid compositions, the spatial order emerges naturally. A rhythmic sequence of colonnades softens transitions between areas, guiding daylight to flow through the interior and creating layered visual depth. Artistic elements, such as the works of Pierre Bonnefille, further enrich the atmosphere; these ideographic interpretations of nature evoke fluidity, tension, reflection, and movement, resonating with the surrounding environment.
Various architectural strategies—such as enclosure and semi-enclosure, open and framed views, concave–convex forms, integrated landscaping, and meandering circulation—embed the fluidity of gardens into the interior realm. Material selections including natural travertine, silk-wool carpets, textured Italian wool fabrics, and black white oak textures evoke a dialogue between the patina of time and contemporary luxury. Subtle interactions of light and shadow enhance these tactile qualities, highlighting the spirit of refinement.
Drawing inspiration from the essence and poetics of tea, the design forges sensory connections between people and space. The quiet Zen-like ambience transforms the environment into a sanctuary where one can pause, breathe, and reset. Art, architecture, and daily life merge seamlessly through a unified design language that dissolves spatial boundaries.
Furnishings such as original Italian seating and refined metal accents elevate the sense of quality and craft. The overall intention is to create a vacation-like experience within the home—an atmosphere that encourages physical and mental relaxation, allowing individuals to release urban fatigue and rediscover tranquility and authenticity in everyday life.
